Job summary

The Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead two new customer locations at Chicago Midway and St. Louis, overseeing a team of about 20 across both sites.

You will own day-to-day operations, safety and service standards, manage budgets and P&L, develop talent, build strong customer relationships and drive continuous improvement with regional leadership.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience managing warehouse, logistics, distribution or supply chain operations.
  • Previous experience leading multiple teams or sites (preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Experience managing operational budgets and performance metrics.
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • A customer‑first mindset with outstanding communication skills.
  • Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems (Epicor P21 experience would be advantageous).
  • Forklift experience or certification is desirable.
  • Experience within aviation, GSE, automotive parts, industrial distribution or similar sectors would be advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience.

We're looking for a Site Manager to lead the successful launch and ongoing management of two newly onboarded customer locations across Chicago Midway (MDW) and St. Louis (STL). This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in expanding a growing operation while leading a team of approximately 20 employees across both sites.

You'll have full operational responsibility for both locations, managing performance, customer relationships, financial performance and people development while ensuring the highest standards of safety, service and operational excellence.
