Warehouse Site Manager
We’re looking for a Warehouse Site Manager who is committed to building something long‑term — someone who leads through people, sets clear expectations, and holds teams accountable while earning their trust. This role involves developing others, driving performance, and fostering a culture of ownership and follow‑through.
Location: 1314 West 18th Street (On‑Site)
Reports To: General Manager of Warehousing
How You’ll Make an Impact (Our 4 Pillars)
Team Powered
Build a strong, engaged team by setting clear expectations, delegating effectively, and developing supervisors. Earn trust through consistency, communication, and accountability — reinforcing what’s working and coaching when it’s not.
Making It Easy
Create structure and clarity so the operation runs smoothly. Strong processes, clear communication, and proactive planning allow the team to execute efficiently without unnecessary friction.
It’s Handled
Take ownership of the operation. Clients, leadership, and your team know issues will be addressed, followed through, and resolved — not passed along.
Driven to Innovate
Lead continuous improvement efforts. Identify more efficient ways to work, involve the team in improvement initiatives, and implement changes that deliver measurable results.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead through delegation, coaching, and accountability — not constant hands‑on task execution
- Develop supervisors and team leads to manage daily workflows effectively
- Build trust through fairness, consistency, and clear communication
- Address performance issues directly and constructively when needed
- Reduce turnover by creating structure, engagement, and growth opportunities
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching conversations, and development planning
Operational Oversight
- Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, value‑added services, inventory control, and shipping
- Ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule
- Forecast staffing needs and plan labor to meet volume demands
- Maintain strong operational discipline and execution standards
Client & Business Impact
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for warehouse clients
- Ensure client expectations are consistently met or exceeded
- Investigate and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Support new and existing business through operational insight, value‑added services, and process alignment
Process Improvement & Quality
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, service, and cost control
- Maintain strong inventory accuracy and audit processes
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and client requirements
- Promote root‑cause problem solving rather than quick fixes
What Success Looks Like
- A warehouse that runs consistently, safely, and efficiently
- A team that understands expectations and takes ownership of their work
- Clients who trust the operation and want to grow with us
- Strong execution without the manager needing to be everywhere at once
- Ongoing improvements that deliver measurable results
