Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is hiring an Assistant Maintenance Manager in Milpitas, CA, to oversee on-site maintenance and ensure reliability of engineering assets. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and drive safety, operational excellence, and team development while aligning with client goals.

The role requires leading a team, managing preventive/predictive programs, and maintaining CMMS data to support dashboards and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in a management role overseeing maintenance teams and multi-site operations, demonstrating strong leadership, safety commitment, and effective communication.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in preventive/predictive maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, performed to established standards.
• Work Availability: Must have the flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, as required by operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Safety leadership and compliance across site with audits and metrics.
• Lead preventive/predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve OEE.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and develop their skills.
• Serve as on-site contact for maintenance issues with cross-team collaboration.
• Ensure CMMS data accuracy and support inventory and budget control.
