Job summary

Valmont Group seeks a Lean Excellence Manager to guide site transformation and Lean implementation across operations. You will coach managers and shop floor teams in Lean tools, lead Kaizen events, and measure progress with critical KPIs.

The role focuses on sustaining improvements and expanding Lean across the plant. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree with extensive Lean experience or equivalent years of hands-on leadership in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years relevant experience or Associate’s degree with 8+ years relevant experience or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred facilitation/coaching experience at TPM/SMED/KAIZEN events and RCA-driven improvement projects.
• Solid understanding of Lean principles and methodology.
• Experience in managing teams while delivering results to a business.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint; strong communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and facilitate the execution of a Site Transformation Plan using Value Stream Mapping and KPIs.
• Drive strategic vision within the business.
• Provide training and leadership for Lean initiatives.
• Lead and own action plans for improvement events and sustainment.
• Communicate progress across organization and support Lean Steering Committee meetings.
