Job summary

Volunteers of America - Dakotas is seeking a Site Coordinator for our Out of School Time program in Sioux Falls. The role oversees daily operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment that aligns with licensing standards and organizational values.

Responsibilities include lesson planning, staff supervision, family communication, and schedule management, with a focus on student growth, safety, and program quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience working with children in a licensed setting; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage with staff, parents, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly site schedule.
• Plan and facilitate a minimum of four lessons per month.
• Review lesson plans and provide feedback to Youth Development Professionals.
• Maintain student records and ensure licensing compliance.
• Ensure safe transportation home for students when needed.
• Monitor staff to child ratios and address attendance issues.
• Communicate with parents daily and educate on enrollment processes.
