Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred education includes one of the following: Bachelor’s Degree in education or human development; CDA credential or equivalent; Two years of college coursework in education.
• Experience: one year caring for and supervising four or more school-age children in a child care setting.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly site schedules.
• Plan and facilitate a minimum of four lessons per month.
• Develop lesson schedule and assign staff to lesson plans; review and provide feedback.
• Ensure safety and supervise students to support learning and positive behavior.
• Manage staff schedules across multiple sites and ensure appropriate staff-to-student ratios.
• Maintain student attendance and enrollment records and communicate changes.
