Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced Site Lead (P3) to direct power plant operations, maintenance, and repairs with emphasis on performance and reliability. You will work with the plant manager to boost profitability while supporting a small team across multiple locations.

The role requires leadership of technicians and contractors, strong safety discipline, and the ability to travel 10–20% of the time. This is a full-time position based at locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Experience leading wind turbine technicians or plant operations.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and ability to travel.
• Proven leadership, budgeting, and safety leadership abilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Manager with annual budgets and scheduling.
• Ensure safety at the power plant level and supervise daily activities.
• Oversee site personnel, contractors, and quality of work.
• Prepare and approve purchase requests and work orders.
• Manage plant reporting, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate inventory, inspections, and regulatory training.
• Support on-call rotations and travel as needed.
• Lead multiple teams and drive cost-benefit analyses.
