Job summary

Leeward Energy is seeking a Project Engineer (P2) to lead engineering efforts for wind, solar, and storage projects in the United States. You will plan, manage, and make decisions on design, permitting, schedule, budgets, and construction through handoff to Operations.

The role requires collaboration with Development, Interconnection, Permitting, and EPC contractors, with a focus on cost efficiency, safety, and technical adequacy.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in engineering.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in power generation, preferably renewables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, NEC).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary engineering interface across Development, Permitting, Real Estate, Construction and Operations.
• Direct a multi-discipline team and consultants to meet project requirements.
