Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy, LLC seeks a Site Lead (P3) in Rosamond, CA to direct wind plant operations, maintenance, and safety. You’ll work with the Plant Manager to improve performance and profitability, manage staff and contractors, and lead reporting and budgeting efforts.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in wind with leadership, HV switching experience, and strong communication. This role may require travel and on-call availability as part of the site team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years wind industry experience with leadership background.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• High voltage switching, troubleshooting, and repair experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience preferred.
• Proficient in Windows Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Manager in preparation of annual budgets and scheduling of plant activities.
• Responsible for all aspect of safety on the power plant level.

In conjunction with the plant manager, develop strategies for the improved performance and profitability of all aspects of the wind power plant.
