Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Site Leader to provide world-class startup, commissioning, testing and inspection service leadership for large, high-profile customers in the Switchgear and Busbar business. The role requires establishing strong rapport with customers, co-workers, and sales teams, and guiding projects from factory testing through start-up to project completion.

Qualifications

• Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent.
• Six years minimum same or similar work experience.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Construction management experience with Switchgear/Busbar and Power Distribution is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical contracting.
• Expert analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Represent Busbar Service at customer and contractor meetings for assigned projects.
• Coordinate start-up, commissioning, inspection and site testing activities for projects.
• Define and manage man-power needs for the job and arrange documentation (submittals, drawings, procedures).
• Coordinate with order management, production, logistics, contractors and warranty groups to avoid conflicts.
• Provide on-site training and technical support to contractors and customers.
