Job summary

Nooks is seeking a Principal Site Lead for its Arlington, VA and El Segundo, CA secure facilities. You will own the physical, operational, and financial success of the site, reporting to the VP of Operations and coordinating with Security, IT/Cyber, Finance, Hospitality, Customer Success, Growth, and Facilities teams.

You will drive daily operations, site launches, and expansion efforts while maintaining high security standards and exceptional user experiences for our customers and defense

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required or immediate eligibility to obtain one.
• 7+ years of experience managing physical and industrial operations in defense, aerospace, hospitality or government sectors.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
• Owned or contributed to a site-level operational budget or P&L; understands impact on financial outcomes.
• Startup experience in a venture-backed or high-growth setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT network infrastructure or secure facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own daily operations and launch execution at your facility, including security, IT, facilities, and guest experience.
• Maintain 99.9% operational availability for secure spaces and ensure immaculate facilities.
• Lead local product/operational feedback loop and translate insights into improvements.
• Resolve IT, security, hospitality, or facility issues to minimize mission disruption.
• Oversee local hiring, onboarding, and alignment with occupancy targets.
• Manage site budget, capital expenditures, and quarterly targets in partnership with leadership.
