Blue Origin LLC seeks a Sr. Director of TeraWave Site Launch Operations to lead the cross-functional team building a first-of-its-kind satellite connectivity manufacturing capability.

You will own end-to-end site readiness, infrastructure buildout, and production go-live, ensuring the site is scalable and operational from day one. You will work closely with engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations to drive milestones and resolve gaps in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, site operations, or industrial engineering.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven ability to stand up complex facilities from the ground up and launch on time.
• Strong technical fluency to understand what is being built and what the facility needs.
• Experience defining facility and infrastructure requirements across test equipment, tooling, power, and production utilities.
• Able to operate in ambiguity and make sound decisions in fast-moving programs.
• Experience partnering across engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations at a senior level.
• Clear communicator with executive presence and ability to translate complexity into insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TeraWave site launch team and drive milestones.
• Own end-to-end site launch from facility planning to production go-live and ramp.
• Define facility and operational requirements (test equipment, tooling, power, utilities).
• Partner with engineering to ensure site capabilities meet production needs from day one.
• Drive alignment across engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations.
• Identify and resolve gaps early and manage risks in a fast-moving environment.
• Define and track site launch metrics and report progress to senior leadership.
• Build a high-performing tiger team capable of executing at speed and scale.
• Adapt plans as program evolves and maintain operational readiness.
• Coordinate with peer site leaders for consistency across sites.
