Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end design, deployment, and scaling of the TeraWave ground network infrastructure in Seattle or Cupertino. You will lead cross-functional teams across software, hardware, and operations to deliver high-capacity, carrier-grade networking capabilities.

You will drive integrated roadmaps, manage critical-path dependencies, and coordinate with vendors and international partners to expand PoPs, transit, and regulatory approvals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 10+ years of technical program management or equivalent program leadership experience.
• Experience leading complex, multi-team software programs from planning through integration, release, and deployment.
• Experience developing and managing integrated roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical paths.
• Experience coordinating software delivery with hardware, silicon, embedded systems, or other tightly coupled engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the deployment strategy for scaling the TeraWave global IP/MPLS backbone.
• Negotiate tier-1 IP transit partnerships, dark fiber leases, and high-capacity transport circuits.
• Deploy PoPs at IXPs and data centers; establish direct peering policies to minimize latency and cost.
• Oversee hardware rack elevations, power distribution, cooling, cabling, and ToR integration.
• Oversee site selection, real estate, and civil/facility lifecycle for gateways and SatOps facilities.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams; manage vendor relationships and procurement cycles.
• Drive regulatory compliance and cross-border approvals for deployments.
