Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking an HSE Manager for a Federal construction project in Tacoma, WA. You will develop and enforce site-specific EHS plans, coordinate with subcontractors, and lead investigations and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Safety/Engineering or CHST, 5+ years in construction EHS, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. On-site role with potential travel; salary $100,000–$130,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or CHST).
• Proven experience in construction EHS.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an on-site EHS plan aligned with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and audits.
• Plan and coordinate hazard mitigation and loss control.
• Conduct accident investigations and report findings to Project Management.
• Provide EHS training and orientation for personnel.
• Lead weekly EHS updates with leadership.
