Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for federal projects in Manhattan, KS.

You will develop and implement site EHS plans, conduct safety meetings, investigations and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations under our growing construction operations. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, performing audits, tracking records, and guiding employees on safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or CHST certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction EHS field.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific EHS plans in line with corporate programs.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and safety audits.
• Plan and coordinate hazard control, incident investigations, and EHS training for personnel.
• Inspect sites for regulatory compliance and adherence to policies.
• Manage Drug-Free Workplace and assist in safety orientation programs.
