Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, civil engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• CHST certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction EHS.
• Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and time management.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and climb stairs or ladders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective site-specific EHS plan with project leadership.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and audits to minimize risk and losses.
• Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and company policies.
• Perform accident investigations and incident reporting for management review.
• Escort injured employees to treatment and ensure EHS protocols are followed.
• Advise on Industrial Hygiene protocols and environmental monitoring.
• Manage Drug-Free Workplace policy and testing programs.
• Provide EHS training and orientation for personnel.
