Job summary

Dexian seeks a Site HSE Manager in the United States to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety, environmental, and regulatory programs at our NC facility. This role ensures a safe workplace, supports sustainability, and maintains regulatory compliance.

The candidate will drive a proactive safety culture, coordinate with operations, quality, and maintenance, and oversee training, audits, and reporting to meet GMP/SQF requirements and environmental goals.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of workplace safety principles and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping capabilities with attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating across departments and communicating with teams and management.
• Proficiency with MS Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to build a proactive safety culture through engagement and training.
• Develop, implement, review, and maintain safety policies, SOPs, and programs.
• Support OSHA compliance and environmental standards.
• Conduct safety inspections/audits and identify hazards with corrective actions.
• Support incident investigations and preventive actions.
• Maintain safety documentation and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with emergency preparedness programs and drills.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and maintenance to ensure safe practices.
• Keep documentation current with regulatory changes.
• Assist safety training and onboarding programs.
• Provide guidance on safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Support waste management and environmental tracking initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety and environmental performance.
• Participate in cross-functional safety initiatives.
• Complete required training and follow policies.
