Job summary

Nordex North America is seeking a Training Manager, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to build and oversee HSE training across U.S. operations.

You will design onboarding, technical, and leadership programs aligned with regulatory and client requirements, ensuring a strong safety culture and practical training. The role collaborates with operations, site leadership, and HSE professionals to deliver effective, scalable training solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in health, safety, engineering, education/training or related field.
• OSHA 30 certification for Construction or General Industry.
• OSHA-authorized Trainer preferred.
• Experience with HSE training programs and adult-learning concepts.
• Proven ability to design and deliver effective training across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage enterprise HSE training programs, policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain an HSE training matrix for all roles.
• Design instructor-led and blended learning programs with assessments.
• Align curricula to operational workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to keep content current with field conditions.
• Maintain training calendars and ensure regulatory compliance training readiness.
• Lead safety meetings and regulatory trainings (OSHA, NFPA 70E, etc.).
• Maintain training records in compliance with corporate and customer requirements.
• Monitor trends and implement innovative training solutions to improve outcomes.
• Support standardization initiatives across global or regional training programs.
