Job summary

MonoSol, LLC is seeking a Site Generalist to serve as a trusted HR partner, fostering a positive, compliant workplace and aligning with VMV. You will collaborate with site leadership to address employee relations, workforce planning, and talent initiatives in a unionized manufacturing setting.

You will own recruitment for hourly production roles, conduct investigations, administer attendance and corrective actions, manage lifecycle changes, and support onboarding, leave administration, and site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, or Talent Operations experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, operations, or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze workforce and site needs, identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and support engagement.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly production roles, including postings, screening, interviews, and offers.
  • Assist with new hire orientation to educate about culture, policies, benefits, and expectations.
  • Serve as a resource on policies and the employee handbook, ensuring understanding across the site.
  • Administer site policies, conduct investigations, and document actions per policy.
  • Partner with site leadership to interpret policies and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Manage attendance tracking, corrective actions, and lifecycle changes (hires, transfers, promotions, leaves, terminations).
  • Support leave administration and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives and site-wide communications.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to provide HR insights and drive organizational effectiveness.

Job description

As a Site Generalist, you will serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leaders, helping foster a positive, engaging, and compliant workplace while supporting the company's Vision, Mission, and Values (VMV). In this role, you will collaborate with site leadership to address employee relations matters, support workforce planning and talent initiatives, and navigate labor relations in a unionized manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include recruiting and selection for hourly production positions, conducting employee investigations, administering attendance and corrective action processes, managing employee lifecycle changes, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and practices. You will also lead employee engagement efforts, support onboarding and orientation programs, assist with leave administration, and contribute to site leadership and labor‑management meetings to drive organizational effectiveness and employee success.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze workforce and site needs, identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience, and recommend solutions that support business objectives and employee engagement.
  • Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process for hourly production roles, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, selection discussions, and offer recommendations.
  • Assist with facilitating new hire orientation programs to educate employees on company culture, policies, benefits, values, and workplace expectations.
  • Serve as a resource and ambassador for company policies, the employee handbook, and benefit programs, ensuring employees understand available resources and guidelines.
  • Administer site policies and procedures, identify instances of non‑compliance, conduct investigations as needed, and document actions in accordance with company policy and corrective action processes.
  • Partner with site leadership to interpret policies, resolve employee relations issues, and provide guidance on workforce matters.
  • Manage attendance tracking, corrective action records, and employee lifecycle changes, including hires, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and terminations.
  • Support leave administration processes and coordinate with employees, leaders, and third‑party providers to ensure compliance and a positive employee experience.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives, recognition activities, and site‑wide communication programs.
  • Participate in site leadership meetings and provide HR insights, recommendations, and updates to support organizational effectiveness.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, or Talent Operations experience.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Strong employee relations skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally.
  • Working knowledge of employment practices, HR policies, procedures, and applicable labor laws.
  • Experience recruiting, interviewing, and selecting candidates in a manufacturing, operations, or similar environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other HR technology tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and apply data to business decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience conducting investigations, documenting findings, and making sound recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.

  • The compensation range that is described below is the possible base pay compensation that the company believes in good faith that it will pay for this role at the time of posting based on job grade for the position. Individual compensation within this range is based on many factors such as years of experience etc. so the company might pay more or less than the posted range and it is understood that this range may be modified in the future.
  • In addition to base compensation, MonoSol provides a yearly incentive compensation bonus, a profit sharing bonus when eligible, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurances, short term disability, long term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, term life insurance, voluntary term life insurance, transit flexible spending account (if applicable), employee assistance program, identity theft protection, 401k and paid time off (vacation and sick days).

$65,000.00 - $95,000.00
