Job summary

Catalent is seeking a General Manager for its Manassas, VA site to translate business strategy into strong operational, financial, customer, and people results. This on-site role requires hands-on leadership across Quality, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Commercial teams.

The GM will strengthen site performance, develop the leadership team, ensure reliable supply, and position the site for growth in consumer health. Strong regulatory and manufacturing experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations within a regulated environment.
• Experience in nutraceuticals, VMS, consumer health, food, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing preferred.
• Proven leadership of a manufacturing site with accountability for safety, quality, service, cost, people, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manassas site, executing the site strategy with accountability for operations, financials, quality, safety, and people.
• Partner with Site Leadership and functional leaders to develop annual operating plans, budgets, and priorities.
• Ensure capacity, capabilities, resources, and discipline to meet customer demand.
• Provide visible, hands-on leadership and foster a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Represent the site with customers and internal stakeholders, collaborating with Commercial, Quality, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product Development.
• Monitor performance against objectives, identify risks/opportunities, and allocate resources.
• Champion Operational Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support business development by representing site capabilities in discussions and developing viable business cases.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
