Job summary

Civica, Inc. is seeking a Senior Vice President/General Manager to lead the Petersburg manufacturing site, building the team and infrastructure for compliant, cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities include strategic long-range planning, execution, and strengthening regulatory alignment with FDA/DEA/OSHA/EPA while maintaining a safe, high-performing culture and robust product supply.

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree in engineering and/or the sciences.
• 15+ years of operations management experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably aseptic or injectable drugs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Continue to build capabilities within the site leadership team.
• Provide overall site leadership and management to ensure that the mission, values and culture are put into practice.
• Lead site team in oversight of facility and equipment design, construction, process development and qualification, regulatory review and inspectional activities, product and site approvals, and implementation of manufacturing in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Implement site operations strategy in alignment with company plans and needs.
• Create and execute site policies and programs to maximize capacity and ensure quality supply and low costs.
• Assist in development of SOPs and business processes for the site, including standard work and documentation to increase efficiency and risk management.
• Provide vision and strategic input toward overall site and company success.
• Lead site organization to establish teamwork and morale.
• Establish performance and development plans for staff with accountability and high performance.
• Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and safety are key elements of site culture.
• Maintain sound relationships with regulatory agencies (FDA, DEA, OSHA, EPA) and Civica’s leadership.
• Manage leadership responsibilities in accordance with corporate policies and laws.
• Communicate clearly and directly across site and corporate levels.
• Set organizational performance goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with other functions to achieve site and company objectives.
