Job summary

Kimberly-Clark in Ogden, UT is seeking a Site Environmental Engineer to support EHS&S at the facility. You will identify environmental and safety risks and help ensure compliance with local, national regulations and Global Performance Standards.

Key responsibilities include risk management, program implementation, and collaboration with site leaders to drive sustainable practices. You’ll contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence across mill operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science/management, safety, industrial hygiene, or related science/engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in related roles for a global, multi-site consumer goods or packaged goods organization.
• Understanding of environmental and occupational safety legal requirements related to ergonomics, fire safety, environment protection, and sustainability.
• Ability to effectively communicate with teams at all levels of the site across multiple mediums.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage environmental and safety risks at applicable locations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local and national regulations and Global Performance Standards.
• Collaborate with site teams to deploy shared objectives that support the Global Sustainability Strategy.
• Implement K-C E&S programs at the site, aligned with the Global Sustainability Strategy.
• Basic understanding of local/country E&S regulatory requirements.
• Address environmental and safety topics outlined by K-C Performance Standards and manage risks.
• Conduct environmental and safety risk, compliance/conformance assessments for mill operations.
• Execute pollution prevention, chemical/petroleum management, and related control systems as required.
• Lead and influence leaders and workforce toward better EHS&S performance.
• Address multi-media pollution prevention and related requirements.
