Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Beech Island Mill is seeking a Senior Environmental & Sustainability Engineer to lead the site’s E&S program, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement for safe, profitable operations. You will own the E&S Management System, define risk reduction strategies, and drive ISO 14001:2026 readiness while coordinating with segment and global teams.

This role emphasizes data analysis, event investigations, training, and contractor stewardship to advance Sustainability 2030

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of E&S experience in air permitting, Chemical management, SPCC, and SWPPP programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated management and leadership experience. Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site is compliant with Kimberly-Clark and regulatory controls and requirements related to environmental matters.
• Take ownership of the relevant environmental and sustainability components within the site's E&S Management System and define risk reduction strategies.
• Lead the facility's effort to elevate the E&S operating model to align with ISO 14001:2026 release and drive program improvements.
• Embed K-C's E&S strategies and partner to drive execution across the site and global teams.
• Deliver Sustainability 2030 goals, including water use reduction, climate emissions reduction, and waste elimination.
