Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Associate Manager, Site Engineering to support manufacturing operations by leading capital equipment projects and process improvements. You will collaborate with Maintenance, Manufacturing Operations, Safety, Learning & Development, and Lean teams to implement new and revised processes with precision.

The role focuses on improving safety, quality, cost, and productivity while guiding cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing capital projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods, food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, or a similar high-volume manufacturing industry.
• Experience specifying custom equipment to meet project objectives.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage new equipment capital projects from concept through startup.
• Develop project budgets, obtain funding approvals, and manage costs.
• Develop equipment and process specifications for new equipment.
• Investigate cost-saving projects and productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and process development teams during new product development.
• Develop site standards and best practices for equipment and processes.
• Participate in capital planning and strategic equipment planning.
• Act as a technical resource and mentor to peers.
