Job summary

SC Johnson in Wisconsin seeks an experienced industrial maintenance professional for a 12-hour day shift, Team C, in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure safety processes, execute maintenance plans, and support capital projects using SAP, MS Office, and MS Project.

Strong problem-solving and coaching skills are essential for continuous improvement. This role emphasizes reliability, documentation in SAP, and collaboration with plant engineers, with no remote work and a focus on safety

Qualifications

Minimum of 7-10 years in industrial maintenance preferably in a chemical plant environment.
Computer skills (MS Office, SAP, Redzone)
Preferred: Associate degree in technical field
Journeyman certification (HVAC, Electrician, etc.)

Responsibilities

Ensure safety processes are followed during daily work, including toolbox talks, step cards, and BBS monthly targets.
Execute all scheduled maintenance activities, validate time/manpower, audit task completion, and review MOC.
Work with plant engineers on base business and capital projects.
Use SAP and Microsoft applications (Excel and Project Manager) to support maintenance processes.
Document and prioritize maintenance activities in SAP; identify and close competency gaps with plans.
Participate in planning meetings, identify resource gaps, and drive continual improvement.
Engage in problem solving for WCS and production teams, from basic failures to DMAIC projects.
Coach and train the technical workforce to adhere to WCS standards with discipline.
