Job summary

SC Johnson seeks an Associate Manager, Site Engineering to oversee capital equipment projects and drive operational improvements across manufacturing operations. You will lead cross-functional teams including Maintenance, Manufacturing, Safety, Learning & Development, and Lean to ensure precise implementation of new and revised processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related manufacturing or industrial discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing capital projects in manufacturing.
• Experience in high-volume consumer-packaged goods or related industries.
• Experience specifying custom equipment to meet project objectives.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects from concept through startup.
• Develop budgets and control project costs.
• Create equipment/process specifications and align with manufacturing capabilities.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and process development during new product introductions.

Education
