Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Associate Manager, Site Engineering to lead capital equipment projects and drive operational improvements in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will manage budgets, specs, and cross-functional implementation with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Safety, and Lean teams.

You will mentor peers, develop site standards, participate in capital planning, and ensure compliance with SCJ Global Standards and regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related manufacturing discipline.
• 5+ years of work experience or 3+ years with advanced degree.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage new equipment capital projects from concept through startup.
• Develop project budgets and funding approvals; manage costs.
• Develop equipment and process specifications for new equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and process development teams.
• Develop site standards and best practices for equipment/processes.
• Participate in the capital planning process and develop strategic equipment plans.
• Act as a technical resource and mentor to peers.
• Ensure compliance with SCJ Global Standards and regulations.
