Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Site Manager in Columbus, OH. The role supports field operations with inspections, safety compliance, and incident investigations under the Region EH&S Manager.

Responsible for safety programs, training, and documentation across MEI sites. You will coordinate with safety and operations teams to prevent incidents, manage SIPPS, qualifications, and on-site safety initiatives, while mentoring other staff and promoting a strong

Qualifications

• Be qualified to recognize safety hazards.
• Hold current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• Possess OSHA 30-hour Construction Card.
• Have a degree in safety or 3+ years of safety management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations through site inspections and safety compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Manage SIPPS, hot work permits, confined space, OSHA SDS records, and related safety regs.
• Develop and implement safe work instructions and JHA's.
• Conduct daily pre-task plan audits and site safety observations.
• Maintain safety documentation and training records.
