Job summary

Nation’s Finest is seeking a Site Director for our Rancho Cordova location in California. This in‑person, exempt role oversees all program activities, personnel, and contracts at the site, reporting to the Residential Services or Supportive Services Director.

The position emphasizes leadership, grant management, budget oversight, and community partnerships to serve veterans and families with housing, health, and employment programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in Social Work, Behavioral Health, Public Administration, Management, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Social Work, Behavioral Health, Public Administration, Management, or related field OR 10 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site services and projects, and manage relationships with community partners.
• Develop and submit funding proposals and identify new funding sources.
• Ensure compliance with grant and contract requirements and reporting formats.
• Develop and monitor site budget and track expenditures to maintain balance.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and develop staff; lead regular staff meetings and trainings.
• Collect and assess client statistics; prepare narrative reports for funders or HQ.
• Engage with local government and stakeholders to advocate for veterans’ needs.
• Coordinate outreach to engage veterans and ensure program outcomes are met.
