Job summary

Colonial Group in Portland, Oregon, seeks a Site Director to lead one or more Remarketing/Reconditioning Centers. You will own the end-to-end operations, including vehicle intake, reconditioning, detailing, logistics, quality assurance, and workforce management.

You will drive strategic transformation with Lean/Six Sigma, manage P&L, and partner with Commercial Sales to align site performance with customer priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Automotive Technology, or related field; MBA a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including 3+ years in automotive, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated success leading high-volume, multi-departmental operations with full P&L or budget ownership.
• Strong expertise in reconditioning operations and end-to-end vehicle lifecycle management.
• Experience designing and executing operational strategy, including process reengineering and large-scale efficiency initiatives.
• Experience leading through other leaders (Site Managers, Supervisors) in a multi-layer organization.
• Advanced analytical and financial acumen, with fluency in operational reporting tools and data-driven decision-making.
• Executive presence with strong communication skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.
• On-site role; ability to travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Own operational and financial accountability for the site(s), including cost control and P&L performance.
• Set the direction for site operations, including capacity planning and long-range workforce and facility planning.
• Partner with Commercial sales to align site operations with customer priorities and ensure product readiness.
• Provide leadership across departments with oversight of Site Managers and department leads.
• Lead end-to-end vehicle flow strategy, balancing throughput, quality, and cost.
• Own site-wide KPIs and drive continuous improvement using data-driven methodologies.
• Represent site operations in executive reviews, presenting performance results and strategic recommendations.
