Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social work, psychology, human development, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ related experience in a child development program.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ classroom experience.
• Knowledge of state licensing and accreditation guidelines.
• Ability to develop age-appropriate classroom activities.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities for successful delivery of childcare programs at the site level.
• Ensure curriculum content fosters educational and personal growth and safety of children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programs; review curriculum and lesson plans.
• Monitor children’s progress and adherence to developmentally appropriate practice.
• Manage site budget, payroll, accounts, and revenue growth through enrollment and events.
• Ensure compliance with OEC, NAEYC, CACFP, and licensing standards.
