Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc is hiring for a Site Director at Broad Street Elementary School in New Jersey for the 2026/2027 school year. This part-time leadership role fits around the school day, with hours 7:00-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm, and pay of $21.00 per hour.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, supervise staff, coordinate curriculum, and ensure licensing compliance to provide a safe, engaging before and after school program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met.
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.
