AlphaBEST Education seeks a proactive Site Director II for Axis International Academy in Fort Collins. You will lead the before- and after-school program, manage daily site operations, staffing, and documentation, and ensure safety and licensing compliance.

This role emphasizes building strong relationships with families and school partners, delivering high-quality student experiences, and guiding a dedicated site team.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met.
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.

Schedule: M-F (split shift) AM 6:30 am - start school/ PM 2:00/2:30 pm - 6:00 pm

As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful before and after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education listed below
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

To meet Colorado licensing requirements, you must be at least 21 years old and meet ONE of the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, recreation, child development, etc.)
• At least 2 years of college and 910+ hours of verified experience working with kids (ages 4+)
• Or 3 years of verified experience + 6 college credit hours OR 40 hours of training related to school-age care
