Job summary

Frederick YMCA is seeking a Site Director for the BASE program to lead the Before & After School Enrichment site in Frederick, MD. You will oversee staffing, programming, and budgeting to ensure a safe, high-quality experience for children and families.

The role requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED (or 2 college courses), and 400 hours of school-age experience or 1 year of relevant care. MSDE compliance and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, or completion of 2 college courses.
• Minimum 400 hours of school-age environment experience or 1 year of care for school-age children.
• Required trainings: CPR/First Aid, Code of Conduct, MSDE trainings.
• Regulatory training within 6 months of hire (MSDE).

Responsibilities

• Direction and supervision of the BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT site.
• Staffing, orientation, training and performance reviews for site staff.
• Manage site budget, enrollment, and attendance to meet goals.
• Ensure licensing compliance and EXCELS accreditation progress.
• Develop and implement high-quality programming for youth.
