Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring a Site Director for our After School program in Independence, KY. This role leads a team of Guides to create engaging clubs and activities across fitness, arts, and technology, while collaborating with the Leadership Team to manage the site.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or higher, 1 year of classroom or group experience with 15+ students, and can work a flexible schedule. Must be 21+ and willing to complete a background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate in Education/Child development preferred.
• 1 year of classroom or group setting experience with 15+ students required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fun, dedicated team of Guides delivering activities across fitness, arts, technology and more.
• Collaborate with peers and Leadership Team to manage all program site aspects.
• Train AlphaBEST Guides on leading adventurous tasks that spark wonder.
• Encourage creativity by establishing clubs aligned with students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment fostering positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and schools.

Locations:Floater Site Director needed to work at sites in Independence Kenton County Kentucky

Monday-Friday No Weekends

As an AlphaBEST Captain, you'll be trained to do the following:

• Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
• Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.

Here's what you'll need:

• Must have HS diploma, Bachelors or Associates in Education or a child development field.1 year experience in a classroom setting ( in a licensed facility)or group setting with at least 15 students.
• Must be at least 21years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
