Job summary

KinderCare is seeking an engaged Lead Teacher to supervise a team and create engaging classroom experiences at our Bowie site. You will develop best-in-class educators and ensure licensing, safety, and educational standards are met, while partnering with parents to deliver high-quality early childhood education.

You will build lasting relationships with families and staff, lead recruiting efforts, and help enroll new children in our sites, fostering a collaborative and impactful learning

Qualifications

• At least one year of teaching experience with ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team.
• Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery happen.
• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, multitasking to manage multiple situations.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Be physically able to use a computer and lift up to 40 pounds, indoors or outdoors, for child safety.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
