Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh is seeking a Site Director for our morning kindergarten-wrap program at McKnight Elementary and our afternoon afterschool program at Highcliff Elementary. The role partners with a Program Director to ensure quality, licensing compliance, curriculum delivery and exceptional family service.

As Site Director, you will mentor staff, manage day-to-day operations across sites, and uphold Keystone STARS standards while fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment for

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related field is preferred or 30 credits in ECE with another degree.
• 2+ years of experience working with youth or 1 year in management/supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with licensing requirements and safety standards at all times.
• Recruit, screen, train, supervise and evaluate teaching staff.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, schools and community partners.
• Oversee day-to-day operations at one or more sites and mentor staff.
• Implement curriculum and quality standards per Keystone STARS STAR 4 center.
