Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Site Director for our Penn Hills location in Pittsburgh.

You will manage day-to-day operations, schedules, staffing, and licensing readiness, while delivering a safe and engaging before- and after-school program. You will oversee curriculum implementation, mentor your site team, build strong family relations, and represent AlphaBEST at school and community events, ensuring a high-quality experience for students and families.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services plus 1 year of experience with children.
• A bachelor’s degree including 30 credit hours in relevant fields with 2 years of experience.
• An associate’s degree with focus in ECE or related field and 3 years of experience.
• An associate’s degree with 30 hours in ECE or related field and 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations: schedules, ratios, staffing, documentation.
• Oversee curriculum implementation to ensure program expectations are met.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment aligned with licensing and AlphaBEST standards.
• Prioritize child safety in all activities and decisions.
• Maintain licensing compliance and readiness for inspections.
• Track site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Coach and mentor site staff; ensure training requirements are met.
