Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business administration, project management, construction management, land planning, architecture, engineering or a related field as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment.
• Four years of professional experience in development project management or review.
• Four years with Pima County in a Construction Project Coordinator, Planner I, or related position may substitute.
• Documentation of qualifying education/experience in the application; resume not accepted as substitute.

Responsabilités

• Manages subdivision plats, development concept permits, site construction permits and other private development instruments within the County; reviews regulatory requirements; coordinates with internal and external agencies; consolidates review comments from multiple authorities; serves as ombudsman for private development approval.
• Develops and administers new strategies to advance project/program development while managing project risk.
• Implements quality control/quality management for projects or programs.
• Coordinates development approvals with business clients and other County departments and aligns with departmental goals.
• May supervise, train and evaluate staff and participate in hiring decisions.
