City of Peoria, AZ is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Site Development Division. You will review development projects to ensure compliance with code and design standards, and provide clear guidance to applicants.

Coordinate with internal and external teams from planning through permitting and inspection, and communicate engineering requirements to developers, engineers, planners, and city staff. Applicants should have strong knowledge of drainage, grading, and street design, and be prepared

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of three years’ professional engineering experience.
Registered Professional Engineer required upon hire with preference to Arizona registration.
Valid AZ Driver’s License upon hire.

Mansioni

Perform engineering reviews of development projects to ensure compliance with code and design standards.
Complete development reviews including grading and drainage plans, water/sewer plans, paving, SWPPP, signing/striping, streetlights, MID/SLID, plats, drainage and soils reports.
Coordinate with internal and external customers to review and process development projects from planning to permitting and the inspection stage.
Attend meetings and clearly communicate engineering requirements to developers, engineers, planners, architects, city officials and the public.
