Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking a Site Development Estimator & Project Manager to lead full-cycle civil site work for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in the Jacksonville area. The role blends preconstruction estimating with hands-on project management, ensuring bids are accurate and projects transition smoothly from office to field.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of civil construction experience in estimating or project management.
• Experience with site development, earthwork, utilities, or roadway construction.
• Strong plan review, takeoffs, bidding, and cost estimating skills.
• Familiar with AGTEK, Hard Dollar, B2W, or HCSS tools.
• Experience using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for large-scale site development projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Complete detailed quantity takeoffs and develop project pricing.
• Prepare and manage competitive bids.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Manage submittals and project documentation.
• Work directly with customers and manage expectations.
• Coordinate information between field and office teams.
• Track project quantities, costs, and progress.
• Manage project workflows, schedules, and vendor relationships after award.
• Support project startup and closeout with local government agencies.
• Identify potential issues early and keep projects on track.
• Maintain clear and accurate project records and communication.
