Qualifications

• Experience in civil/site development estimating or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings, plans, and specs.
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, drawings and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for civil/site development projects.
• Develop accurate project estimates and competitive bids.
• Calculate quantities for clearing, earthwork, grading, drainage and utilities.
• Analyze costs: labor, equipment, materials, subs, and suppliers.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Coordinate with project management and operations during estimating.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities while maintaining requirements.
