Job summary

Replications, Inc. is seeking a Site Coordinator for The Urban Assembly Unison School in Brooklyn.

You will lead efforts to improve attendance, family engagement, and enrollment, while coordinating with school leadership and community partners to ensure students have the resources to succeed. You will manage recruitment, communications, and partnerships, supporting students in temporary housing and overseeing daily school operations.

Position Overview

The Site Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing Replications’mission. In partnership with the Community School Director, school leadership, and faculty, the position leads key initiatives that strengthen student attendance, deepen family engagement, expand school enrollment, and build robust community partnerships. This role reports to the Community School Director and serves as a connector across teams—bridging student support, family empowerment, and community resources to ensure students have the conditions they need to succeed.

KeyResponsibilities
Student Recruitment, Enrollment, andAfter‑School
  • Drive student recruitment and enrollment growth by supporting the Admissionsteam in designing and executing strategic outreach plans.
  • Strengthen school branding and marketing efforts throughcommunity-basedpromotion of programs and the community school model.
  • Serve as a primary contact for prospective families, guiding them through the enrollment and onboarding process.
  • Supporttheafter‑schoolpartnership.
Attendance Management and Student Support
  • Oversee daily attendance operations, including transferring late arrival data,monitoringattendance communications, updating records, and distributing reports to staff.
  • Lead Attendance Focus Meetings usingdatatoestablishtargetedinterventions,incentives, and attendance improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze attendance trends and collaborate with the Student Support Team (SST), advisors, students, and families toidentifyroot causes and develop responsive strategies.
  • Conduct proactive family outreach for absent or chronically late students, including home visits andschool meetings.
  • Implement and refine attendance policies to strengthen consistency, compliance, and student engagement.
Family Engagement, Empowerment, and Community Partnerships
  • Participate in the Family Empowerment Team, PTA, and School Leadership Team (SLT) to strengthenfamily‑schoolcollaboration.
  • Connect families to Federal, State, and City resources, providingsupportwith applications and coordinating social service events with external partners.
  • Develop andmaintaina Family Resource Center, securing and organizing tangiblesupportsfor families.
  • Manage weekly community communications, including email blasts and calendar updates highlighting events and services.
  • Conduct formal family needs assessments and provide targeted outreachfor familiesrequiringelevated support.
  • Cultivate andmaintainpartnerships with local social service organizations, mapping community resources and staying current on availablesupport.
General School Operations and Support for Students in Temporary Housing (STH)
  • Serve as an active member of the Student Support Team (SST) to address studentwellbeingholistically.
  • Support daily school operations, including lunch duty, hallway supervision, andmaintaininga positive and safe school culture.
  • Collaborate closely with advisors toidentifystudent concerns and provide tools and insights that strengthen student and family support.
  • Act as the school liaison for Students in Temporary Housing (STH),maintainingstrong coordination with the NYCDOE STH team.
  • Coordinate targeted resource drives and ensureequitabledistribution of goods to students in temporary housing.

Requirements
  • DOE Fingerprinted
  • 2 years ofexperience in Community Schools or similar organizations
  • 2years of administrative experience in a school or other social services setting
  • Bachelor'sdegree in education, social work, or other social services profession; OR anAssociatedegree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
