Replications, Inc. is seeking a Site Coordinator to advance student attendance, family engagement, enrollment growth, and robust community partnerships at Restoration Academy in Brooklyn.

As a connector across teams, you will bridge student support, family empowerment, and community resources to ensure students have the conditions they need to thrive. DOE fingerprinting is required, with 2 years in community schools or similar work.

Position Overview

The Site Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing Replications’ mission. In partnership with the Community School Director, school leadership, and faculty, the position leads key initiatives that strengthen student attendance, deepen family engagement, expand school enrollment, and build robust community partnerships. This role reports to the Community School Director and serves as a connector across teams—bridging student support, family empowerment, and community resources to ensure students have the conditions they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Student Recruitment, Enrollment, and After‑School

• Drive student recruitment and enrollment growth by supporting the Admissions team in designing and executing strategic outreach plans.
• Strengthen school branding and marketing efforts through community-based promotion of programs and the community school model.
• Serve as a primary contact for prospective families, guiding them through the enrollment and onboarding process.
• Support the after‑school partnership.

Attendance Management and Student Support

• Oversee daily attendance operations, including transferring late arrival data, monitoring attendance communications, updating records, and distributing reports to staff.
• Lead Attendance Focus Meetings using data to establish targeted interventions, incentives, and attendance improvement initiatives.
• Analyze attendance trends and collaborate with the Student Support Team (SST), advisors, students, and families to identify root causes and develop responsive strategies.
• Conduct proactive family outreach for absent or chronically late students, including home visits and school meetings.
• Implement and refine attendance policies to strengthen consistency, compliance, and student engagement.

Family Engagement, Empowerment, and Community Partnerships

• Participate in the Family Empowerment Team, PTA, and School Leadership Team (SLT) to strengthen family‑school collaboration.
• Connect families to Federal, State, and City resources, providing support with applications and coordinating social service events with external partners.
• Develop and maintain a Family Resource Center, securing and organizing tangible supports for families.
• Manage weekly community communications, including email blasts and calendar updates highlighting events and services.
• Conduct formal family needs assessments and provide targeted outreach for families requiring elevated support.
• Cultivate and maintain partnerships with local social service organizations, mapping community resources and staying current on available support.

General School Operations and Support for Students in Temporary Housing (STH)

• Serve as an active member of the Student Support Team (SST) to address student well being holistically.
• Support daily school operations, including lunch duty, hallway supervision, and maintaining a positive and safe school culture.
• Collaborate closely with advisors to identify student concerns and provide tools and insights that strengthen student and family support.
• Act as the school liaison for Students in Temporary Housing (STH), maintaining strong coordination with the NYCDOE STH team.
• Coordinate targeted resource drives and ensure equitable distribution of goods to students in temporary housing.

Requirements

• DOE Fingerprinted
• 2 years of experience in Community Schools or similar organizations
• 2 years of administrative experience in a school or other social services setting
• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or other social services profession; OR an Associate degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
