Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading or supporting after-school or youth development programs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to quickly learn and use the school-based data system.
  • Spanish fluency preferred.

Position Overview

The Site Coordinator serves as the on-site administrator responsible for the daily implementation, coordination, and successful operation of the 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) program. Site Coordinators ensure that academic enrichment, youth development, and family engagement activities are delivered with fidelity while maintaining compliance with all federal grant requirements, organizational policies, and program expectations. They supervise program staff, coordinate schedules and daily operations, communicate with families, school personnel, and community partners, monitor attendance and program quality, and maintain accurate documentation and data for reporting. Through effective leadership and operational oversight, Site Coordinators foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that supports student success, strengthens family partnerships, and contributes to positive program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with administration, staff, families, and community partners.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all school-based partnerships, programs, and services.
  • Oversee daily operations of the before- and after-school program to ensure alignment with 21st CCLC grant goals and OCS compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate schedules, curriculum, instruction, and assessment to support student achievement in core academic areas; using school-based data to guide student selection and programming.
  • Plan and facilitate parent engagement activities, workshops, and Community forums.
  • Manage site-level program budget, monitor expenditures, complete required purchasing, and assist with financial reporting and grant amendments.
  • Maintain accurate records; submit reports on program performance, attendance, and student progress to district and state as required.
  • Support teacher professional development, site monitoring, and compliance with OCS, OST and ELT guidelines.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to meet evolving program needs.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading or supporting after-school or youth development programs, particularly those serving high-need student populations, with a strong understanding of educational best practices and grant-funded program requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to quickly learn and use the school-based data system.
  • Spanish fluency preferred.
