YMCA of Springfield seeks a Site Coordinator to lead our before and after school programs on-site. You will supervise staff and participants, ensure safety and quality programming, and maintain strong communication with families and the supervisor.

You will implement the curriculum, supervise volunteers, and coordinate daily operations. This role requires leadership, reliability, and commitment to YMCA core values in every activity.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age with preference for 21+.
• At least 2 years of related experience working with youth.
• Must complete onboarding within designated time.
• Have leadership competencies in identified key areas.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work with integrity, discretion, and a professional approach.
• Knowledge of/diverse populations and experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety and well-being of all program participants and follow emergency procedures.
• Serve as main point of contact with parents and communicate daily.
• Direct and supervise high quality program activities and curriculum implementation.
• Direct personnel and volunteers; motivate staff and report concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain program area cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Host daily staff huddle and participate in weekly meetings and daily recap emails.
