Job summary

StandexElectronics is seeking an experienced Site Controller to lead the accounting function across the organization, owning the general ledger, close processes, and internal controls to ensure US GAAP compliance.

The role partners with business units, FP&A and operations to deliver high-quality financial reporting, manage AR/AP, inventory and cash, and supervise staff. A CPA is preferred, with 8+ years in accounting leadership and manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of work experience in an accounting leadership role.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, multi-site, multi-geo environment.
• CPA qualification preferred; bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and drive standardized processes and continuous improvement.
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
• PowerPoint and Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP - Oracle and PowerBI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own month/quarter/year-end close across the company, including journals, A/P, A/R, inventory, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Guide, mentor and support accounting/reporting teams.
• Assist subsidiaries to ensure GAAP compliance and external reporting requirements.
• Monitor books and reconciliations; balance sheet and P&L review.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and YoY analysis for senior management.
• Assist implementation of internal controls and policies.
• Cash management: cash forecast and liquidity across entities.
• Support M&A analysis, due diligence and purchase price accounting.
• Coordinate with tax advisors, legal firms and auditors for tax and audit filings.
• Assist budgeting/forecasting processes and monthly reporting standardization.
