Job summary

Standex International is seeking a Site Controller to lead the accounting function for Standex Electronics and related entities in the US. The role oversees general ledger, month-end close, AR/AP, inventory, and external reporting in line with US GAAP.

You will manage a small finance team, drive internal controls, support budgeting and forecasting, and coordinate with corporate, tax, legal, and auditors to ensure accurate, timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting leadership, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in multi-site and multi-geo environments.
• CPA qualification preferred; bachelor's in accounting/finance required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and drive standardized processes and continuous improvement.
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
• PowerPoint and Advance Excel skills; ERP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage month/quarter/year-end close across the company.
• Guide and support accounting teams.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and external reporting.
• Monitor balance sheet accuracy and P&L accounts.
• Prepare consolidated statements and year-over-year analyses.
• Coordinate with tax, legal, auditors and corporate teams.
• Drive internal controls and process improvements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage cash and working capital for multiple entities.
• Assist in M&A analysis and integration as needed.
