Job summary

Heraeus Medevio seeks a Site Controller for the White Bear Lake, MN location to lead the finance team, ensure accurate reporting, and partner with site management on budgeting and forecasting. The role emphasizes strong internal controls, cost management, and cross-functional collaboration within Medevio.

The ideal candidate will have robust US GAAP knowledge, 8+ years in financial management, and excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles; Assistant Controller level or equivalent.
• Multi-year experience in manufacturing controlling at a site level.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to plan, structure and execute complex tasks.
• Proficiency in financial analysis techniques, financial modeling, and using financial management systems.
• Demonstrated business acumen and leadership abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team at the site. Provide coaching and support to team members to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow) ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with site management, sales, and other functions to develop annual budgets and forecasts; monitor performance against plans.
• Monitor and control costs within the site; review and approve expenses; identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision making; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls for accurate reporting and asset protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Medevio to drive business performance and provide financial guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting; streamline workflows.
• Other duties as required.
