Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Site Controller for the Woodridge, MN location in the Structural Heart division. You will oversee financial planning, reporting, and site controllership, guiding Ops, Eng, QA, and Supply Chain while supporting site leadership.

This role requires a 10+ year FP&A background, strong accounting knowledge, and proven team leadership. Expect close collaboration on monthly closes, forecasts, and internal controls to drive site performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with Accounting/Finance major.
• Minimum ten years overall experience in FP&A with finance leadership at a large manufacturing site or group of sites.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and SAP.
• Full knowledge of integrated accounting cycle and information systems; experience in manufacturing finance including absorption costing.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team; strong internal controls (SOX) expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide business support, financial counsel, and direction to site leadership for all functional areas (Ops/Manuf./Eng./QA/Supply Chain/R&D).
• Lead the development, consolidation, analysis, and publication of financial forecasts and actuals.
• Direct site finance department, overseeing performance evaluations, coaching, and talent development.
• Direct and manage cost accounting, budgeting, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliations.
• Coordinate monthly close, reporting, and year-end financial information packages; ensure SOX compliance.
